We are preparing for a first trip back to our beloved Ghana in 2023. So much has changed in a positive way since the Year of Return in 2019. Many African-Americans are visiting, doing business and relocating to the “Gold Coast”.

We have prepared an itinerary that allows travelers to better understand Ghanaian history, culture, and customs. We’ll travel to the historic Slave Dungeons to pray, view, and learn about the horrific journey our ancestors endured to the “Door of No Return”. We will immerse ourselves in the culture by participating in a naming ceremony, drum and dance classes and a tradition foods taste. We’ll learn about local herbs and medicine uses for centuries to cure and manage illnesses. Time at the beach and shopping is a must do activity! And oh, did I mention boutiques and custom-made garments for men and women?? Night life in Accra has something to offer for every traveler’s delight.
